Tournament Rules

10 Round Swiss system.

Rythm of play: 1 hour and 30 minutes plus 30 seconds per move for each player.

Each participant, excepting the titled players, will be allowed two byes during the event. Byes for the first round must be requested before the beginning of the tournament. If a player wants another bye he has to warn the arbiter beforehand.

There is the possibility of allowing a third bye depending upon the judgement of the organizing committee.

No points will be given to a player in a round in which he has applied for a bye. (Bye = 0 points).

One round will be played every day from the 24th of April till the 3th of May.

On the 24th April at the Hotel Deloix**** between 12:00h. and 17:00h. The participants will be checked and classified in order to avoid wins by default in the first round.

The pairings of the first round will Published at 17:30h. on the 24th of April.

First round: On the 24th of April at 18:00h.

Rounds 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 will begin at 16:30 h. and will be played on the 25, 26, 27, 28 ,29,30 of April and on the 1 and 2, respectively.

Round 10 will begin at 9:30 h. on the 3th of May.

The prizes will be distributed on the 3th of May at 18:00 h.
